Founders
The Youth CPR Project was founded by the Stead brothers Trilok and Karthik, who were high schoolers at Trinity Preparatory School in Winter Park, Florida during the COVID-19 pandemic. Seeing many kids whose caretakers succumbed to cardauc arrest during this time, they embarked on the goal to teach the life-saving skills of CPR and Stop the Bleed® to as many kids as they can to empower them. Trilok is certified in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Both Trilok and Karthik are certified CPR/AED/BLS instructors. They work with Board-certified emergency physician ATLS instructors to teach the Stop The Bleed® course. Their dedication to teaching these life savings skills was recognized with the American Heart Association Heartsaver Hero Award.
